Viva Viveca!

Viveca Koh FRPS FIPF4 February 20116 March 2016

Delighted to be published in local magazine ‘The Transmitter’ here in Crystal Palace, after being contacted before Christmas by the Editor Andy Pontin via Twitter. He saw my Tweet relating to one of my Crystal Palace snow photographs making Explore on Flickr, and Tweeted me with “and a very nice picture it is! Could we possibly print one of your pics in our next issue and maybe do a mini interview?” Over time, this evolved into a full interview with writer Mary Stamm-Clarke, who asked me some very searching questions about my photography, and from that came the article in this excellent magazine!

I first saw the piece on-line this morning but later nipped out to Bookseller Crow to get some hard copies, and now I have the glossy magazine in front of me, smelling deliciously of ink and paper, I can’t help but feel dead chuffed. Seeing Andy’s introduction “local photographer Viveca Koh has beguiled us with her mesmeric arthouse pictures” gives me a warm fuzzy glow, whilst at the same time there’s a little voice in my head saying “blimey! He’s talking about me!” – it’s a good feeling, and today is a very good day!
