After my success last year in getting my photograph ‘Beauty Ensnared’ accepted for the prestigious Royal Photographic Society International Projected Image Exhibition, I have again entered four images into the General Digital category in the hope of getting one accepted for the show. The exhibition tours the UK and Ireland, and is open to photographers from all around the world, amateur and professional alike. Judging will take place later this month, and successful entrants will be notified by early September. I will keep you all posted, but in the mean while please keep your fingers crossed for me!
LATEST NEWS @ 31st August:
I am very pleased to announce that two of these photographs were accepted for the RPS exhibition – ‘And Leave The Rest Unspoken’ plus ‘Leviathan’, both receiving eleven points each from the three judges, who were scoring marks between two and five, where a score of eleven equalled a pass. ‘Dreamscape’ received ten points and ‘Numbers Game’ received nine, so came quite close, but I am more than happy to have had two accepted (and an improvement on last year’s one). Over 4,000 images from 800 photographers around the world were submitted, 483 selected for the exhibition, and the RPS said the standard was very high. I’ll be looking forward to seeing all the rest of the entries in time.
